Piano di Sorrento to host tango book presentation at Villa Fondi

Vittorio Vecchione will present his new book, ‘Il colore dell’abbraccio. Viaggio nell’Atlante emotivo del Tango’ (Abrazos, 2026), at Villa Fondi in Piano di Sorrento on September 24.

The presentation, organized by Laura Ferraiuolo, explores tango as an emotional language rather than just music and technique. Vecchione, drawing on his experiences between Naples and Buenos Aires, describes a ‘grammatical emotionality’ where the embrace serves as a symbol of human connection and presence. The event will feature tango masters Gennaro Galdiero and Raffaella Pirozzi, along with musical performances by Annalisa Cangiano and Tina D’Esposito.
