Piast Castle in Racibórz expands dining and cultural status

The Piast Castle in Racibórz is expanding its gastronomic offerings with the opening of Restauracja Zamkowa in October. Located in the Słodownia cellar, it will be the third dining establishment on the castle grounds, joining Maszynownia and Restauracja Rycerska.

Further expansion plans include a new dining point in the Gate Building and the potential use of outdoor spaces near Zamkowa Street. This development aims to increase visitor options and boost the castle's revenue, which is projected to rise in 2026.

Additionally, the castle is set to transition into a formal cultural institution starting January 1. This change, pending a vote by the County Council, is intended to strengthen the tourism and economic potential of the Racibórz region.
