Piatra Neamț to host children's cycling race during Tour of Romania

Piatra Neamț will host the Children's Race on September 10 as part of the 2026 Tour of Romania. The event is open to young cyclists aged 2 to 14, with free participation. The race will take place at Stefan cel Mare Square, serving as a precursor to the arrival of professional cyclists in the city.

The Tour of Romania is an international event featuring over 150 athletes from 16 countries. Following the children's competition, the professional peloton will arrive in Piatra Neamț after the second stage, which begins in Iași. The tour will continue on September 11 with a challenging route from Piatra Neamț to Băile Balvanyos.
