Piauí and Goiás municipalities launch public hiring contests

The municipality of Tamboril in Piauí announced two simplified public hiring processes, offering more than 20 immediate positions and a reserve list across education and administrative roles. Salaries range from R$800 to R$2,600, with workweeks of 20, 30 or 40 hours. Applications are open online from 17 to 25 July 2026 and a written test is scheduled for 16 August 2026.

In the north of Goiás, the city of Trombas opened a new public contest with roughly 100 vacancies covering a wide array of professional and support positions. Salary caps reach up to R$5,130.63, and weekly hours vary between 30 and 40. Candidates must register online between 1 August and 1 September, with fees based on education level. The selection includes written exams and, for some roles, title analysis and professional licensing requirements.
