Piauí ranks first in Brazil for digital public services
Piauí has secured first place in the national ranking for the digitalization of state public services. According to the index developed by the Brazilian Association of State and Public Entities of Information and Communication Technology (Abep-Tic), the state achieved a maximum score of 100 points, repeating its performance from 2025.
Currently, Piauí offers approximately 800 public services through digital platforms, allowing citizens to access procedures without physical travel. In the ranking, Goiás followed in second place with 99 points, with Rio Grande do Sul in third with 97.5 points. The survey evaluated 26 of Brazil's 27 federative units, noting a significant disparity in digital service availability across the country.
