Piazzale Milano health desk introduces mandatory online booking

Starting August 24, access procedures for the CUP Single Desk at the Casa della Comunità in Piazzale Milano will change. Physical access to the desk will now require a prior appointment booked through the ZeroCoda online service.

Sara Soresi, a city council member for Fratelli d’Italia, has raised concerns regarding the accessibility of this new system, particularly for elderly and vulnerable citizens who may lack digital literacy. Soresi criticized the AUSL's suggestion that these individuals rely on family members or caregivers to manage online bookings, arguing that public health services should not depend on the availability of third parties.

Soresi has submitted a written inquiry to the municipal administration to determine if the city was informed of this change and to ask whether the CUP telephone service can still be used to book necessary appointments.
