PIB Fact Check debunks viral video of Jantar Mantar protest

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check agency has debunked a viral video claiming that protests are currently taking place at Delhi's Jantar Mantar against Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the Chief Election Commissioner.

Upon investigation, the agency clarified that the video is old, dating back to January 2024, and is being shared out of context to mislead the public. PIB Fact Check advised citizens not to rely on unverified information and to use official channels to verify such claims.
