PIB – The New College to expand to Rio de Janeiro with entrepreneurship degree
PIB – The New College has announced plans to open a new campus in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, in the first semester of 2027. The institution will offer an eight-semester undergraduate degree in Business Administration specifically designed to train entrepreneurs, family business successors, and future executives.
Utilizing a ‘learn by doing’ methodology, the program aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and corporate reality. Students will engage in practical business challenges, international missions, and company immersions. The curriculum features direct interaction with industry leaders, including João Kepler of Bossa Invest, Alfredo Soares of G4 Educação, and Theo Braga of SME.
The inaugural class will consist of 50 vacancies with monthly tuition fees reaching up to R$ 8.2 thousand. The college was founded by education sector entrepreneurs, including Mohamad Abou Wadi, Theo Braga, and members of the Raunheitti family. This expansion follows the institution's existing presence in Santa Catarina and São Paulo.
