Pick Everard completes fire safety works at nine Salford residential blocks

Major fire safety remediation works have been completed across nine residential tower blocks in Salford. The project involved the replacement of cladding, insulation, and fire compartmentation, alongside the installation of new fire alarm systems and sprinklers.

The residential blocks, managed by Pendleton Together Operating Ltd (PTOL) as part of the Together Housing Group, include Thorn Court, Beech Court, Whitebeam Court, Malus Court, Salix Court, Spruce Court, Holm Court, Hornbeam Court, and Plane Court. In addition to enhancing safety, the improved insulation is expected to help residents reduce energy costs.

Pick Everard served as the lead designer and principal designer for the scheme, collaborating with principal contractor Quaysquare Consult and other technical specialists to ensure compliance with current building safety legislation.
