Pickleball popularity drives travel and facility growth across Asia

The growing popularity of pickleball is influencing both local recreation and regional travel trends across Asia. In the Philippines, new facilities are expanding access to the sport. In Cebu, options include SideOut Premier Pickleball in Mandaue City, Nomad Pickleball Court in Banawa, which offers 24-hour access, and Supreme Pickle Court in Lapu-Lapu City, which features an on-site gym, café, and restaurant.

On a broader scale, travel platform Agoda has identified several key destinations for pickleball-focused getaways. These include Higashi-Izu, Japan, home to the Izu Resort Villa complex; George Town, Malaysia, featuring waterfront courts at Pickle By The Sea; and Da Nang, Vietnam, which has become a hub for the sport following the Pickleball World Cup. Davao, Philippines, also maintains a dedicated venue for the sport.
