Pickleball tournaments expand across Vietnam

Pickleball tournaments are expanding across Vietnam, featuring both community-focused and large-scale competitive events.

In Hanoi, the 2026 Three-Region Team Pickleball Championship – Grand K Hotel Suites Hanoi Championship is set to open on October 2. The tournament will feature 32 teams from across the North, Central, and South regions of the country. Moving away from individual play, this event utilizes a specialized team model where each squad must consist of one captain and 12 athletes competing across five different skill-based categories.

In Cam Binh, Ha Tinh, the first annual Cam Binh Pickleball Tournament is scheduled for October 4. Organized by the local Business Association and the Women Business Club, the event aims to celebrate Vietnam Business Day and the first anniversary of the association. More than 70 athletes have registered for the men's and women's doubles categories. Beyond competition, the tournament serves as a networking platform for local entrepreneurs and a fundraising initiative to support disadvantaged individuals within the commune.
