Pickleball World Cup 2026 opens in Da Nang, Vietnam

The 2026 Pickleball World Cup is currently taking place in Da Nang, Vietnam, at the Tien Son Sports Complex. Running from August 30 to September 6, this marks the first time the tournament has been held in Asia. The event features approximately 5,000 athletes representing 80 countries and territories, combining professional international competition with community-based play.

India has demonstrated significant dominance at the tournament, securing a total of 27 medals to date, surpassing its previous tally of 25 from its debut in the United States last year. Notable performers include Bhushan Akut, who has earned three gold medals, and Kiaan Contractor, who secured a silver medal in the men's singles category. Additionally, the pair Vishal Choudhary and Siddharth Reddy earned silver in the 40+ Men's Doubles Below 4.5 category.
