Pickleball’s Growth Drives Safety Advice and New Florida Courts

Pickleball has become one of the fastest‑growing sports in the United States, offering a low‑impact, social game that attracts beginners and seasoned players alike. The rapid lateral movements and quick pivots typical of the sport can cause foot and ankle problems such as sprains, strains, plantar‑fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis and stress fractures.
