Picnic PostNL director Rudi Kemna recovers from severe accident

Rudi Kemna, the sporting director of the Picnic PostNL cycling team, is recovering after a serious accident. The 59-year-old team leader fell while performing work on a roof earlier this week, resulting in fractures to his back, neck, sternum, and several ribs.

Kemna was hospitalized in critical condition and has since undergone surgery. A spokesperson for the team confirmed that his condition is now stable.

This incident follows recent scrutiny for the Picnic PostNL team regarding allegations of a culture of fear within the organization, which has prompted the team to announce an independent investigation.
