Pińczów to host second International Balloon Festival in September

The second edition of the ‘Balonowe Świętokrzyskie’ event, featuring the 2nd International Balloon Festival and the Polish Balloon Cup, is scheduled to take place from September 10 to 13 in Pińczów and the surrounding Ponidzie region.

On Saturday, September 12, a Balloon Picnic will be held at the Municipal Stadium in Pińczów from 16:00 to 21:00. The event's highlight will be a night balloon show over the Pińczów Reservoir starting around 20:30. Additionally, balloon launches are planned from the Pińczów airfield during the morning and afternoon hours.

Pińczów Mayor Marcin Wojniak, a co-organizer, noted that the event serves to promote the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship as a tourist destination and provides a platform for local artisans and producers to showcase regional products and handicrafts. Organizers cautioned that all flights are subject to favorable weather conditions.
