Piešťany seeks millions in grants for urban revitalization

The city of Piešťany is seeking nearly 2.9 million euros in Norwegian grants to revitalize key urban landmarks. The proposed project aims to create a cultural corridor by connecting the Colonnade Bridge and the Music Pavilion.

Approximately 1.2 million euros would be allocated to the restoration of the Colonnade Bridge, a national cultural monument. This work includes repairing its pillars, digitizing information, and improving resilience against climate and weather impacts. If successful, the project could begin in May 2027 and continue through 2031.
