Piechowice municipality appeals construction permit in Górzyńce

The municipality of Piechowice has appealed a construction permit for a service building at the former ‘Potok’ resort in Górzyńce. The local government is seeking a full revocation of the decision made by the Karkonosze Starosty and a complete reconsideration of the case.

Mayor Radosław Burchacki stated that a detailed analysis by municipal experts revealed potential procedural errors. Key concerns include whether the building's mezzanines are being improperly classified to bypass floor count regulations, and whether the municipality was given sufficient opportunity to voice its opinion before the permit was issued. The mayor emphasized that the decision to appeal is based on legal and substantive arguments rather than political pressure.
