Piedmont and Casale Monferrato announce sports funding initiatives

The Piedmont region has launched a call for proposals titled “Projects for people with disabilities” (Measure B.2) as part of its 2023/2025 three-year program. The initiative provides non-repayable grants to amateur sports associations and clubs registered with the National Register of Amateur Sports Activities. The funding aims to reduce social exclusion by promoting physical and motor activities for people with disabilities, supporting competitive sports, and training specialized athletic trainers.

In Casale Monferrato, the “+Sport! 2026” initiative offers economic support to both families and amateur sports associations. Residents of Casale Monferrato with an ISEE below €16,000 can apply for reimbursements covering up to 81% of sports expenses for minors, with a maximum of €200 per child. These activities must be conducted through recognized associations within the 48 municipalities of the local ASL AL health district. Applications for the Casale Monferrato program must be submitted by November 27, 2026.
