Piedmont attracts international tourists for culinary and nature excursions

Various tourist groups recently visited the Piedmont region of Italy to explore its natural and culinary heritage.

A group from Dornbirn, Austria, traveled through Como and Turin, focusing on the history of the House of Savoy. Their itinerary included a truffle hunt in Asti and a visit to the Marsaglia winery in the Langhe region to experience local viticulture and specialties.

In the village of Perlo, approximately sixty tourists from Munich, Germany, visited local chestnut groves. Led by Mayor Lorenzo Benzo, the group explored the natural landscape and the remains of an ancient medieval castle. The visit concluded with a traditional tasting of roasted chestnuts.
