Piedmont hosts Castelli Aperti historical site tour

The Castelli Aperti initiative, sponsored by the Piedmont Region, continues its program to showcase the territory's historical residences. On Sunday, August 30, the event will open various castles, villas, museums, and noble palaces to the public.

In the Asti province, scheduled sites include the Torre del Conte Ballada di Saint Robert in Castagnole delle Lanze, the Castello di Castelnuovo Calcea, and the Castello di Rorà in Costigliole d’Asti, which is hosting an exhibition by artists Gabriella Piccatto and Barbara Corbucci. Other locations include the Torre dei Segnali in Viarigi and several sites in the Alessandria province, such as the Castello dei Paleologi and Villa Ottolenghi Wedekind in Acqui Terme.
