Piedmont invests €330,000 to upgrade Guardia di Finanza barracks in Alessandria and other sites

The Piedmont regional government signed an agreement with the Guardia di Finanza to allocate €330,000 for extraordinary maintenance and infrastructure upgrades at seven barracks in the region, including the facility in Alessandria. The funding will be used in 2026 for design and implementation of works that modernise, secure and improve the functionality of the buildings, benefiting personnel tasked with law‑enforcement and economic protection duties. Regional Autonomy, Security and Local Police Minister Enrico Bussalino and Guardia di Finanza regional commander General Giovanni Avitabile presented the plan, emphasizing that modern, safe facilities strengthen the State’s presence and operational efficiency across Piedmont.
