Piedmont Region allocates 1.5 million euros for nursery school expansion

The Piedmont Region has announced 1.5 million euros in funding to expand the operating hours of municipal nurseries for the 2026-2027 educational year. This initiative, now in its sixth edition, aims to support families and improve work-life balance by providing more flexible childcare services.

The resources are provided through the European Social Fund Plus (FSE+) and will be distributed among 77 participating municipalities based on their specific project requirements. Regional Councilor for Education and Merit, Daniela Cameroni, stated that the investment is intended to ensure that families, including those in smaller municipalities, have access to high-quality and accessible educational services.
