Piedmont Region partners with USR, ANCI and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo to boost early childhood education

The Regione Piemonte, together with the Ufficio Scolastico Regionale (USR), ANCI Piemonte and the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, signed a collaboration agreement that will run until 31 December 2027. The pact creates a stable alliance aimed at strengthening the integrated education system for children from birth to six years old across the region.

Key actions include a shared governance model coordinated by the regional government, high‑level training programmes for Coordinators of Territorial Pedagogical Coordinations, operational support for municipalities during the transfer of authorisation and monitoring duties, and a dedicated research and monitoring framework funded in part by the PNRR. A steering committee will oversee implementation, promote best practices and ensure equitable access to quality early‑education services for all families in Piedmont.
