Piedmont Regional Council resumes institutional activities

The Piedmont Regional Council, presided over by Davide Nicco, is resuming full institutional activities following the summer break. A series of commission meetings and sessions are scheduled for the upcoming week.

Key legislative items include discussions on bills regarding artificial intelligence and social economy. The council will also address differentiated autonomy under Article 116 of the Constitution through consultations with local authority associations.

Other scheduled topics include the establishment of a regional day in memory of Luigi Einaudi, reforms for technical institutes, regulations for social housing, the 2026 annual program for migratory movements, and an active aging plan.
