Piedras Negras announces fundraiser for cancer support group

In Piedras Negras, the General Directorate of Social Development and the House of Culture have announced a fundraising event to benefit the Cancer Support Group (GAC). Scheduled for October 17, the activity is part of the “Pink Month” awareness efforts to support women battling cancer.

Cynthia Villarreal, Director General of Social Development, stated that the event aims to raise resources for women facing the disease. Participants can register for 400 pesos, which includes a commemorative kit. The initiative is supported by various municipal agencies, including the Women's Institute, to promote cancer prevention and early detection.
