Piedras Negras man dies from electrocution during illegal connection attempt

A man approximately 40 years old died from electrocution in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, while allegedly attempting to make an illegal electrical connection. The incident occurred in the Ejido Piedras Negras sector when the individual reportedly came into contact with a 13,200-volt high-tension line while working from a ladder near a utility pole.

Emergency responders found the victim without vital signs at a residence on Benito Juárez Street. The State Attorney General's Office arrived at the scene to conduct investigations and ordered the body to be transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for an autopsy. The victim's identity has not yet been confirmed.
