Piekoszów firefighters complete advanced first aid training

Firefighters from the Piekoszów municipality have completed a 66-hour qualified first aid course. The training included theoretical and practical examinations, covering critical scenarios such as sudden cardiac arrest, suspected heart attacks, and traumatic limb amputations.

Participants also practiced using automated external defibrillators (AED). According to Paweł Domagała, the municipal-communal commander, each of the six Volunteer Fire Departments (OSP) within the municipality is equipped with one or two AED devices. The training program, which included both new certifications and renewals for existing personnel, was funded by the Piekoszów municipal budget.
