Piemonte Cavalleria Regiment celebrates 70 years in Trieste

The Piemonte Cavalleria (2nd) Regiment will celebrate its 70th anniversary of presence in Trieste with a free concert performed by the Italian Army Band. The event is scheduled for September 30 at the Politecnico Rossetti.

The regiment has been stationed in Trieste since 1956 and was awarded honorary citizenship in 2004 due to its historical value and connection to the city. Additionally, Poste Italiane will host a stand in the theater foyer featuring limited edition postcards with a special philatelic cancellation mark.
