Pier Paolo Pasolini art exhibition opens in Tuscany
The Antica Grancia di Serre di Rapolano in the province of Siena is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Pasolini. Pitture, Paesaggi, Persone’. Curated by Daniela Ferrari and Riccardo Maria Balzarotti, the project explores the lesser-known artistic side of the prominent Italian intellectual Pier Paolo Pasolini.
The exhibition aims to connect Pasolini’s paintings with the local Sienese landscape and the historical context of the Grancia building. According to local officials, the display seeks to highlight Pasolini’s view of painting not as a secondary discipline, but as a vital link to the land and the peasant world. The exhibition will remain open to the public until January 10, 2027.
