Pierluigi Di Piazza remembered for humanitarian legacy

Community members and family gathered to honor the memory of Pierluigi Di Piazza, four and a half years after his passing. Di Piazza was a priest and the founder of the Balducci reception center in Zugliano.

During a reflection held at a cemetery, his brother Vito Di Piazza highlighted his diverse humanitarian contributions. These included his long-standing membership in the organ donor association Ado, his support for mental health through the Comunità Nove in Udine, and his immediate assistance to those affected by earthquakes in Gemona. He also provided material support to the Scugnizzeria bookstore in Scampia.
