Piero Hincapié expected to return to Arsenal within two weeks
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapié, stating that the player is recovering well from an ankle injury. Arteta expects Hincapié to be available for selection within one to two weeks, potentially returning before the upcoming international break scheduled for November.
Hincapié has already missed recent matches, including the fixture against Nottingham Forest and the upcoming Champions League match against Bayern Munich. While the club has not specified the exact nature of the injury, Arteta expressed optimism regarding the player's character and recovery progress.
In addition to Hincapié, Arteta noted that Martín Zubimendi is showing improvement and will be evaluated for availability in upcoming matches. Other players, including William Saliba and Christos, also remain under medical supervision as they progress through their respective recovery stages.
