Piero Lovisolo appointed General Manager of Melinda and La Trentina

Piero Lovisolo has been appointed as the new General Manager for both Consorzio Melinda and the La Trentina cooperative. The decision was approved by the boards of directors of both entities, with his official start date scheduled for October to coincide with the launch of a new commercial campaign.

Lovisolo brings over forty years of managerial experience in the food and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. His professional background includes leadership roles at major companies such as Ferrero, Galbani, San Carlo-Unichips, Palmera, Kimbo, Toschi Vignola, and De Fonseca. He has extensive international experience across Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, and Luxembourg.

In his new role, Lovisolo will work closely with Massimiliano Gremes, the current operational director and system coordinator, to ensure management continuity. Lovisolo stated his intention to leverage his expertise in brand strength and product positioning to further enhance the identity and value of the brands.
