Pierre Cosso: Life after 1980s stardom and acting retirement
Pierre Cosso, the French actor who rose to fame in the 1980s following his role in ‘La Boum 2’, has completely left the film industry. Now 65, Cosso ended his acting career approximately 20 years ago to pursue a personal dream.
Cosso was part of the 1980s musical duo with Bonnie Bianco. Their 1984 duet ‘Stay’ reached number one on the German charts. Despite their on-screen chemistry in ‘Cinderella 80’, the two reportedly had a difficult working relationship during their peak popularity.
While Cosso transitioned through various film and television roles before retiring, Bonnie Bianco pursued a singing career, most recently releasing an album of Christian music in 2012.
