Pierre “P” Thomas, the co-founder and Co-CEO of Quality Control Music, is recovering in a Las Vegas hospital after suffering a heart attack last week. While he was initially treated in the intensive care unit, recent reports indicate his condition is showing signs of improvement.

Following a surge of social media misinformation claiming Thomas had passed away, his family and Quality Control Music released statements to clarify that he is alive and receiving medical care. Thomas’ mother addressed the public, expressing frustration over the false reports and noting that the sudden nature of the cardiac event was unexpected. She also suggested she is seeking answers regarding the cause of the medical emergency.

Thomas is a prominent figure in the Atlanta-based hip-hop scene, having helped launch the careers of artists such as Migos, Lil Baby, and City Girls.
