Pieter Huistra addresses PSS Sleman future after three consecutive losses

PSS Sleman head coach Pieter Huistra has addressed questions regarding his future following the team's poor start to the 2026/2027 Super League. The club has failed to secure a single point in its first three matches, suffering three consecutive defeats against Madura United, Bali United, and most recently, a 1-2 loss to Dewa United Banten FC.

Huistra stated that he is leaving his position to the club's discretion and expressed confidence that positive results will eventually follow. He noted that the team has had opportunities to achieve better outcomes but highlighted defensive vulnerabilities, specifically how easily opponents are scoring goals, as a primary area for improvement.
