Pietra Bastos to Play for Brazil at U17 Volleyball Championship in Chile

Sixteen‑year‑old outside hitter Pietra Bastos, representing Esporte Clube Pinheiros, has been selected among 14 athletes for Brazil’s U17 women’s volleyball team. The squad will compete at the World Championship in Santiago, Chile, from 6 to 16 August.

Brazil is placed in Group C with Argentina, Croatia, Spain, Japan and Poland. The team’s schedule includes matches against Croatia (18:00, 6 Aug), Poland (15:00, 7 Aug), Argentina (15:00, 8 Aug), Spain (18:00, 10 Aug) and Japan (21:00, 11 Aug). The inaugural edition in 2024 was won by China, while Brazil reached the quarter‑finals.

Games will be streamed live on the FIVB YouTube channel and Volleyball TV platform.
