Pietracamela celebrates Madonna Festival with free Modena City Ramblers concert

The town of Pietracamela in the Gran Sasso area organized a weekend of religious and musical events on 1–2 August. On Saturday, a free open‑air concert by the folk‑rock group Modena City Ramblers took place in Piazza Carlo Amorocchi, drawing residents and visitors with a mix of Irish folk and Italian songwriting.

On Sunday the traditional Festa della Madonnina was marked by a Mass held in the glass‑capped chapel (Cappellina di Vetro) in the forest, after the usual site was closed for maintenance. The events were coordinated by the municipal administration under Mayor Antonio Villani and supported by the Bim Tordino‑Vomano association.
