Ten months after the deaths of 15-year-old Sara Di Vita and her mother, Antonella Di Ielsi, the investigation into what is suspected to be premeditated double homicide remains unresolved. The victims presented to a hospital in Campobasso with symptoms resembling common gastroenteritis, including vomiting and abdominal pain, before passing away shortly after discharge.

Investigators are now focusing on a digital trail to explain the toxicological findings, which suggest ricin poisoning. Authorities are analyzing electronic devices and searching for activity on the Reddit platform, specifically looking for searches or content linked to an IP address in the Pietracatella area.
