Pietramontecorvino to host third wild boar festival

Pietramontecorvino will host the third edition of the ‘Sagra del Cinghiale – Selvaticamente Buono’ on Wednesday, August 12, starting at 20:00. Located in Via Mazzini at the school building square, the event aims to promote local culinary heritage and the Monti Dauni region.

The special menu features wild boar dishes, including fusilloni with ragù and wild boar goulash, accompanied by local specialties such as bruschetta with Monti Dauni truffles and traditional caciocavallo di fossa. The meal will be paired with wines from Cantine Longo.

Organized by the C.P.A. (Caccia Pesca Ambiente) association and supported by the Municipality of Pietramontecorvino, the event also includes musical entertainment by DJ Old and DJ Dan. Michele Iadarola, president of the C.P.A., stated that the goal is to promote local products and connect younger generations with hunting culture.
