Pietramurata hosting 'Ritorno a Camelot' gathering amid political controversy

The 'Ritorno a Camelot' gathering, organized by the Veneto Fronte Skinheads group, is scheduled to take place from September 3 to 6 in Pietramurata, in the municipality of Dro, Trento. The event has sparked significant political tension and calls for its prevention from various left-wing organizations, unions, and political figures.

Despite pressure from figures such as Angelo Bonelli, who urged the Ministry of the Interior to apply the Mancino law to block the assembly, the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security determined there were insufficient legal grounds to ban the event, as it is held in a private space. Consequently, authorities have opted to monitor the gathering through prescriptions and surveillance rather than prohibition.

Between 120 and 140 law enforcement officers have been deployed to ensure order and prosecute any criminal acts. Meanwhile, political representatives such as Emilio Giuliana of Futuro Nazionale have defended the right to attend, framing the participation as a moral obligation and criticizing local authorities for their stance.
