Pietrapaola City Council reverses organizational restructuring plan

The Pietrapaola City Council has reversed previous decisions regarding its organizational structure. In early 2025, the Council had approved a modification to the staff roster to create a new Instructor position. This was intended to facilitate a vertical career progression for a municipal employee, moving from the Expert Operators area to the Instructors area within the General Affairs sector to manage Demographic and Social Policies.

Following this change, a second employee was to be transferred to the Financial Area to balance workloads. However, a new deliberation issued on September 24, 2026, has overturned these arrangements. The recent decision moves an employee from the Financial Area back to Demographic Services, which effectively halves the workload of the employee who received the career advancement. Critics suggest this restructuring could lead to administrative deadlocks and negatively impact the municipal budget.
