Pietro Ceccaroni remains central to Palermo's tactical setup

Pietro Ceccaroni remains a key tactical asset for Palermo under manager Filippo Inzaghi, despite increased competition within the defensive squad. Known for his versatility, Ceccaroni has demonstrated the ability to play as a left-back in a four-man defense, a central defender, and as a left-sided defender in a three-man system.

While Ceccaroni has maintained a central role in the team's recent transition to a 4-2-3-1 formation, the arrival of experienced defender Barba has intensified the competition for starting positions. Although his contract is set to expire at the end of the season, Ceccaroni is considered a favorite in tactical rotations due to his experience and effectiveness during set pieces.
