Pietro Lombardi faces vision loss due to corneal thinning

German singer Pietro Lombardi is facing serious vision problems in his right eye. Following a medical examination, it was revealed that his vision in that eye has dropped to 40 percent due to significant corneal thinning.

Lombardi shared the news via his podcast “Patchwork Boys” and Instagram, noting that while his left eye currently compensates for the loss, the situation is critical. He expressed concern that if the condition is not treated quickly, he could face near-blindness in that eye, defined as vision falling below 20 percent.

The singer, who underwent laser eye surgery approximately two years ago, is scheduled to visit an eye clinic in Cologne to determine the cause and explore treatment options, which may include the surgical implantation of a specialized lens.
