Pigiama Run returns to Milan to support pediatric cancer patients
The seventh edition of the Pigiama Run, a non-competitive run and walk to support children with cancer and their families, is scheduled for September 18, 2026. Organized by LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori), the event will take place in Milan at the Giardini Montanelli and will simultaneously involve more than 35 cities across Italy.
Participants are encouraged to wear pajamas as a symbol of solidarity with children who spend much of their time in hospital beds. The event coincides with Gold Ribbon month, an international period dedicated to pediatric cancer awareness.
Donations collected will fund various services, including solidarity transport to treatment centers, psychological support, housing assistance for families far from home, and sports therapy within hospital wards. For those unable to attend a specific city event, the ‘Anywhere’ formula allows participation through independent running or walking from any location.
