Pijnacker‑Nootdorp and De Ronde Venen adopt new coalition agreements

The municipal councils of Pijnacker‑Nootdorp and De Ronde Venen have each presented a four‑year coalition agreement. In Pijnacker‑Nootdorp, the parties Eerlijk Alternatief, CDA, Progressief PN and VVD outlined a programme for 2026‑2030 that prioritises new housing for starters, seniors and families, increased safety measures, preservation of green spaces, stronger social‑domain support and streamlined procedures for entrepreneurs. The council will debate the pact on 11 June.

In De Ronde Venen, VVD, D66 and CDA unveiled their “Vooruit door samenwerking” agenda on 2 June, covering the construction of affordable rental and ownership housing, expanded safety personnel, the creation of local multidisciplinary teams, sustainability initiatives such as insulation and energy savings, and plans for a new municipal building with associated residential units. The agreement also proposes relocating a waste‑transfer station and developing new recreational infrastructure. The council will consider the agreement and appoint candidate aldermen on 11 June.
