Pikmin Bloom adds airport luggage‑tag collectibles and August community‑day challenges

On 7 August 2026 the location‑based mobile game Pikmin Bloom released a new set of decor items called luggage‑tag Pikmin. Eight variants are available at airport locations, each bearing a three‑letter IATA airport code such as HND (Tokyo Haneda), JFK (New York John F. Kennedy), CDG (Paris Charles de Gaulle) and SYD (Sydney). The official announcement invited players to recognise the codes and collect the tags while exploring airport areas.

The game also scheduled a two‑day community‑day event on 8–9 August 2026. Players who walk 10,000 steps in a single day can earn a limited‑time “canna‑planter” badge. The event features a seasonal flower, giant flowers that bloom for three hours, and a 1.5‑times growth‑speed boost for planted seedlings. Step counts reset at midnight, and players must open the Pikmin Bloom app on the challenge day for the badge to be awarded. Special task tickets and a community‑day bundle are sold for the duration of the event.

Both updates aim to encourage travel‑themed exploration and physical activity within the game.
