Pilgrims begin walking journey from Međugorje to Rama

A group of approximately 65 to 70 pilgrims has begun a multi-day walking pilgrimage from Međugorje to Rama to celebrate the feast of Mala Gospa. The journey, known as the ‘Od Gospe do Gospe’ vow pilgrimage, began in 2022 with only 12 participants and has grown significantly in recent years.

Starting at 5:00 AM, the pilgrims traveled through various locations including Split, Zadar, Čitluk, and Ljubuški. During their route, the group stopped in Široki Brijeg to pray at the memorial plaque for murdered friars and was hosted by the Grbešić family for lunch.

The trek involves walking approximately 40 kilometers per day through the Herzegovinian mountains. The pilgrimage is set to culminate in Rama with a Holy Mass on September 8 at 11:00 AM.
