Pilgrim’s Europe reports revenue and profit growth in 2025

Pilgrim’s Europe reported an increase in revenue and operating profit for the 2025 financial year, driven largely by strong performance in its poultry division, Moy Park. Total revenue rose to £4.12 billion from £4.07 billion in 2024, while operating profit climbed to £267.7 million, up from £242.4 million the previous year.

Moy Park accounted for approximately £2.1 billion, or over half, of the group’s total sales. This growth helped offset a decline in revenues within the former Kerry consumer meats business, Pilgrim’s Food Masters, and challenges in the pork market. Despite a major restructuring that resulted in 1,000 job cuts, the poultry arm maintained strong momentum.

The company invested £108.6 million in capital expenditure across its manufacturing, farming, and supply chain operations. Additionally, the business launched over 800 new products across retail and foodservice categories. Pilgrim’s Europe also noted becoming the exclusive supplier for Waitrose’s Better Chicken Commitment own-brand chicken ahead of schedule.

While the company reported sales and volume growth in its poultry and meals divisions during the first half of FY2026, management warned that consumer spending pressures, agricultural commodity volatility, and mixed trading conditions in the pork sector remain challenges.
