Pilgrim’s Pride reports Q2 2026 earnings miss, EPS $0.06 and shares rise modestly
Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation announced its second‑quarter 2026 financial results. Net sales reached $4.6 billion. U.S. fresh‑volume sales rose on stronger retail and food‑service demand, and the company highlighted growth in its Just Bare retail brand, which increased sales by more than 30% year‑over‑year. European sales were buoyed by poultry and meals offerings, and Mexico saw volume gains driven by improved growing conditions. The firm received workplace awards in the United States, Europe and Mexico.
The stock moved up $0.14 to $29.95 after the release. Institutional investors adjusted positions, and Bank of America lowered its price target to $30 and issued a neutral rating.
