Pilgrims walk to the Virgin of Cisne Sanctuary in Pastaza

Hundreds of pilgrims participated in the traditional Caminata de la Fe, traveling from the Puyo Cathedral to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Cisne located on the Puyo–Macas road in Pastaza, Ecuador.

Participants included families and devotees, as well as members of the Pastaza National Police, who honor the Virgin of Cisne as their patroness. The event is part of the official “August, Month of Tourism and Culture” programming in Puyo. The sanctuary was constructed through the efforts of families from Loja and the Vicariate of Puyo.
